Owen Reed is looking to recruit an innovative and experienced Legal Secretary - Disputes to join a top law firm in London.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:
· Full diary management, reading and delegating all incoming emails · Extensive travel arrangement such as flights, hotels, trains, etc. · Producing travel itineraries · Providing full Legal secretarial and administration duties for London Attorneys, as directed by London Partners or Director of Administration · Opening new matters · Opening and closing files / matters · Amending lengthy documentation · Email management · Producing expense reports · Preparing visual diagrams and PowerPoint presentations · Billing · Drafting agreements, engagement letters · Obtaining KYC documentation · Production of CD bibles · Production and printing of client documents and bundles as required · Organising and maintaining training records for the team. |
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
· Previous experience within a legal secretarial role, ideally within litigation/arbitration teams. · Excellent client service skills with a positive can-do attitude · Self-motivated, disciplined individual with excellent problem-solving skills · A calm, clear thinker with excellent attention to detail and a desire to take ownership and see a task through to completion · Flexible and collaborative · Extremely high organisation and prioritisation skills, a multi-tasker who enjoys a fast-paced working environment and can manage multiple priorities, with experience of managing end to end tasks that require multiple touch points · Able to adhere to tight deadlines and enjoy working in a busy environment · Strong communication skills with a highly professional telephone and written manner · Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external · Advanced Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint knowledge, as well as previous experience and deep expertise of using document management and e-filing systems · Experience in amending lengthy documents · Excellent IT and IT troubleshooting skills, also able to comfortably pick up new systems with a logical approach · Professional, presentable, articulate and confident |

Working Pattern
This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) - core office hours 9.30am-6.00pm. Hybrid working to be discussed on a case by case basis. |
